They are a unique and wonderful way to drown out the outside world and wash any lingering stress away.

Soak up the warm glow of a crackling fire, sipping a refreshment from the complimentary juice, fruit, and tea bar in the men’s and women’s private lounges. Overstuffed chairs you can simply melt into are the perfect place to clear your mind. Read, drift away on a daydream, or take the opportunity to pinch yourself - yes, it’s really real.

morterpestle.gifMeditative Garden

Stroll through our 10,000 square-foot meditative garden where you can relax and enjoy the water sounds (in season) of the Solacium per Aqua or soothe the soul as you walk the Labyrinth pathway. The Meditative Garden features Solacium per Aqua; the Latin word ‘solacium’ translates in English to solace, or comfort, and ‘per aqua’ means well-being through water. Inspired by Vermont’s pristine rivers and natural streams, this ten-foot, hand crafted stone water sculpture is designed to relax you as you sit on its carefully sculpted and smoothed edges.

Our 4,000 square-foot, seven-circuit classical Labyrinth that was designed by famed geomancer, Dr. Patrick MacManaway of Scotland, is also available for you. Meander in a serene and relaxing outdoor sanctuary for personal reflection. The garden will feature regional flowers and herbs that are used in select Stoweflake Signature Treatments and the restaurant’s Spa Cuisine. (Geomancy is the practice of identifying subtle energies, or earth radiations, that directly affect our health and well-being. It involves identifying those energies that are disruptive to our lives and balancing them.)
